#Zone Errors

Zone errors happen when the CQ or ITU zone logged for a station differs from the zone that belongs to its location. They are most common with countries that span several zones, where the callsign alone does not tell the zone. A good habit is to log the zone that was actually sent and to check unusual ones after the contest. The articles under this tag explain the typical situations and how to deal with them.
