#WAE Country List

The WAE country list comes from the Worked All Europe award and is closely related to the DXCC list. It matches the DXCC entities in Europe and adds a small number of extra areas that are treated as separate for its own purposes. Some contests, CQ WW DX among them, use a country list that includes the WAE additions, so those extra areas can matter for multipliers. The exact entries and prefixes are published by the organisations that maintain the lists and are built into the country files used by logging programs. The articles under this tag explain what the list adds and how to make sure your logger agrees with the rules of the contest you enter.
