#Not in Log

A not-in-log QSO is a contact that a contest committee could not match in the log of the other station. Typical causes are an incorrect clock, a wrong band or mode, an incomplete exchange, a busted call or an error on the other side. Some of these are outside your control, but many can be prevented with a good setup and a review before submission. Not in log is one of the three groups in the UBN report, together with unique and busted. Articles under this tag explain the causes and the habits that reduce them.
