#Second Receiver
A second receiver, or a second VFO on the same radio, lets an operator listen on another frequency while still running on the first. In a contest it is used to find multipliers or new stations without leaving the run frequency. It does not make the station a two-radio station unless the rules of the category say so. Articles under this tag explain the benefits and the costs of this technique for rate and logging accuracy. They also describe what to watch in your statistics afterwards.
