#DX QSOs

DX QSOs are contacts with stations outside your own country or, depending on the context, outside your own continent. The split between own-country, same-continent and other-continent contacts shows what kind of work filled a contest log. In some contests the group of the other station affects the points or the multipliers, while in others all contacts count the same, so the rules must be read first. The share of each group says something about the antennas, the timing and the propagation of that year. Comparing the split with earlier logs shows whether a change in result came from the type of contacts or from their number. The articles under this tag explain how to read these shares and use them when planning the next contest.
